Michelangelo Rome

Via della Stazione Vaticana, 9

Stunning view on the biggest dome in the world, overlooking vatican gardens, you'll enjoy the city without any fuss, few steps from anywhere.

That’s the closest spot to St. Peter’s Dome out of the Vatican! Even if it’s really a central area, you will enjoy the pleasure to be awakened up by the sound of birds. Few steps to St. Peter’s square (4’) a pleasant walk to Castel Sant’Angelo (10’) and then, passing the bridge, you’re at via dei Coronari (15’), Piazza Navona (25’) and then Pantheon, Campo dei fiori, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps.

If you land at Rome Fiumicino transfer from/to airport is 45€ (link). The standard taxi fare to Michelangelo is 48€. A local train, 8€, connects you to Trastevere train station, from which transfer to the venue is available via another train (2 stops) to St.Peter’s railway station. If you are landing in Ciampino, the taxi fare is 30. You may also take a bus to via Crescenzio, which is a short walk from us.

If you are arriving at Termini (railway station) you may take bus 64. The venue is 2 stops across the river, and the ride is 30 minutes. If your train gets in at Tiburtina (Rome’s second largest railway station), you will need to get on bus number 62 up . The ride to the venue is 40 minutes. to the last stop before the river, then lines 46,64,916 for 2 more stops. If you will be using Rome’s public transit, please note that tickets (1,50 € - 90’) must be purchased before boarding buses.

If you will be joining us by car, we are not in a restricted traffic area, but just in front of the place where the Pope Francesco decided to live so very often, for security reasons, parking is not allowed.

In everyday life you can easily find a parking in the area. If you prefer a garage, ask us to reserve one for you no far away from here.

Michelangelo is conveniently located near many public transit stops. On via di Porta Cavalleggeri, right across the street from the venue, there are bus lines that can take you to the ancient Rome area. However, we suggest that you to take a bus to across the river (2 stops) and to walk around and explore the city instead. Most of the sights are within 45 minutes of the hotel.

Under construction.

The venue is a short walk from GIANICOLO and Villa Dora Pamphjli park, lovely place for jogging end sport. As well for the river banks, for running and biking. Something more? Why don’t you contact Monia or Mauro for Pilates, personal trainer or jogging? (http://www.popuprome.com/event/jogging-for-fun-in-rome/2016-07-17/).

Rome is a great place for shopping. You will find both designer brands, and wonderful artisan shops and outlets. If you would like to have someone assist you in your shopping, please contact us. Via Condotti is the ultimate fashion district, and Via Cola di Rienzo, Cia dei Giubbonari and Via del Corso are great for more casual shopping. Kind words from our guests

A recommander.
